Can someone tell me why another sculptor can't produce this, its a sculpt based off a classic marvel comic cover.My point is Moore didn't create the artwork its based from,John Buscema created the cover art that inspired Moore to do the sculpt.

I love the fluidity of this sculpt but thought Moore may have tuned down the "comicy" colours a bit. Still fantastic....can't wait to get up close and personal.

I'm not privy to the dealings on this piece, but simply putting the reason that this piece hasn't been produced yet only because of greed is probably inaccurate. My guess would be that the companies involved simply cannot agree on who deserves a reasonable share of the profits from Clay's labor. Afterall, this piece wouldn't exist yet if Clay hadn't sculpted it. In cases like these, ego usually plays a major role as well.
