If you did know about the character, you would think twice about getting involved with her. She is a mere 3-D character "seducing" her father, a knight, to leave his home to go on an adventure. In the end, realising that his daughter is no human being and upon completion of his task, Bragon the Knight goes insane, having understood that he wasted his life doing heroic deeds, but failing to raise a family, including having a daughter. The graphic novel is called "The Search for the Bird of Time" (translation) - and I could not find an English version of the book on Amazon. I am aware of the original French and a German translation. It has three volumes. For more details:

On Pelisse, she is really well done. She is a daughter to be proud of (for the knight) as well as an attractive lover (for roughly any male being in the book). The "hero" in the book by-the-way is more lucky - stays at home with the girl he finds on the adventure and they have at least two children.
Graphic novel highly recommended. Assuming there is an English translation - or language skills in French or German are at least fair.
