I'm glad you guys are fixing it, that original "damage" just looked like scribbles and I expected more from you guys. Thanks for fixing!

Received an update today. HMO have completed the QC process
They are arranging for all REN statues to be send out by batches, starting today.
I wonder how large a batch is? 10? 25?

By QC process, i'm guessing they opened up all 125 statues and fixed the small paint issues with the battle damaged helmet.

Spotted on Facebook last week. Someone has received their Ren statue no.13/125

That's the good news. The bad news..

I along with others have yet to receive request for final payment & shipping cost.
With only 125 statues to ship, i wonder what the delay is with HMO?

The guys at Radd Titan reported their Ren arrived with a small piece broken off.
I'm starting to sense HMO packaging might be average. Time will tell, when mine arrives.

As far as I know the delay is caused by the fact that they are redoing the helmet.

I own another HMO statue and their packaging is above average in comparison to SS and such.

That's good news, HMO packaging being above average.

On the subject of 'redoing' as i posted in a previous post:

The statues are being shipped from China. HMO are based on Hong Kong. I got the impression the 'redoing' was happening at HMO HQ by an HMO painter. They could have sent their painter to China i guess? normally factories don't do reworked once something is complete, boxed etc.

HMO want to charge $180 US dollars to ship a 1/4 scale statue?
A normal price is anything between $40 and $80 depending on courier / box size.

Depends on where you're shipping it from and who you are.

I'm assuming from China to UK
Sideshow never charge this high amount, and they once sent direct from China to UK
Gentle Giant charge no where near this amount, and they ship US to UK using super fast DHL 3 day delivery, rather than the cheaper super slow (1 month) USPS

For the high HMO shipping price, i'd assumed they are using a fast delivery service.
I've sent HMO an email asking why the high shipping price?

SS charges almost $80 in the US (east coast), so if they are giving $80 to the UK it's heavily subsidized. Also they ship A LOT more than something like H.M.O, they won't get anywhere close to the same discounts. Gentle Giant also does more volume, but also it's a terrible parallel because GG's stuff is far far smaller.
