Cinemaquette Silicone faces- these have been out for over 2 years- thoughts?

I was wondering- with the Arnold statue with their silicone face in some collectors hands for over two years, has anyone seen any degradation of the silicone faces? How do they hold up?

Silicon wont break down in that short time span.....Latex wont even break down in that short time span. If handled correctly that is.

You'd have to seriously mistreat the maquette for the silicone to degrade in such a short period of time.

It's funny, the idea that there are people who are keeping them in direct sunlight, but it probably does happen

My office is flooded with sun during most of the day. It has faded everything from my couch to photos on the wall. Bad spot for a CM. At home he is on display in my toy room which does not get any sun at all (faces north). Great spot for Arnold!

Personally I wouldn't consider doing such a thing to any of my pieces. No doubt there are some out there that are exposed to direct sunlight though.
