The Nun (2018) 6/10

Not as bad as I'd heard. There was kind of an "old-school" vibe to it with the sets. Some beautiful, gothic throw-back settings with fog draped graveyards & spooky tunnels & rooms. I liked the imagery a lot. Now, the actual story? "meh" it worked on a modern-horror level. I'd watch it again in October.

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse 9/10
I enjoyed it more than most of the other Spider-Man films.

Coco (Pixar) 2017 - 9/10 In my top 2 for Pixar. Beautiful from start to finish.

Crawl (2019) - 7/10 - Surprisingly fun summer' popcorn movie. My family & I enjoyed it. Reminded me a lot of Deep Blue Sea ... only in a house.

Captain Marvel
6.8/10

The Blu-ray dropped today, I finally got to see Captain Marvel. It wasn’t as boring as friends had suggested. The mild humour was mildly humorous, obviously, not a patch on likes of Deadpool. The film contains good special effects. I now know how Captain Marvel came to be. Production values were as to be expected, top notch, way above some of the recent DC stuff I’ve endured recently (Justice League, Batman vs Superman).

The lead Skrull (the green race of shape shifters) came across like a gangster. That might have had something to do with his limited mouth movement caused by the mask he was wearing

All in all, not bad, not super great. At times Captain Marvel came across like a sugar coated Disney movie.

I can’t wait for the End Game Blu-ray to drop.

Captain Marvel, speeding through space - wouldn’t the brown leather jacket have burned up? ..or am I sounding daft?
