Charlie is a first lieutentant in the Marine corps - and before killed he fought in the Marines along Guile

which at one point made Guile a marine

Alex was trained by a Marine Tom- and enlisted but dropped out to go into street fighter 3

so at one point they where all Marines

Actually Guile could of being a Marine - before Street fighter 2
as if you read the Alpha Series of what happened to Charlie said he Was a Marine and one of his Mission's was him being sent to infiltrate Thailand and he Fought ALONG side Guile .

After his death -
Guile could of than when into the Airforce .
