SPARKART's Monthly Mixer

A long time ago...

I got a Warner Brothers Store display case when they were closing the stores. I had intended to re-finish it and use it as a permanent display case for a Dark Horse Hard Boiled 1/4 scale model kit, but I never finished the kit (actually never started it, either).

Now, the display case has been moved out of storage in the garage to house a rotating display of my 40-year-old-virgin stuff. I intend to change it out every month or so.

Fett-tember

I don't have many autographs, but both of these pieces sport signatures. The Boba Fett base has Jeremy Bulloch's autograph and the Slave I base has Lorne Peterson's autograph. I got Mr. Bulloch's signature at Star Wars Celebration IV, and Mr. Peterson's autograph at one of his book signings that featured a movie-theatre presentation of Episode IV. It's funny, but these represent, literally, two-thirds of my autograph collection.

Kaneda!-tober

I've posed the Project BM! (Bandai/Medicom) 1/6 scale Kaneda doing a donut, standing up on one leg, while gunning the throttle and pushing and pulling the bike around. I think I'm going to have to make a smoke cloud with Mountains-in-Minutes or Great Stuff Sealant to make this more obvious. I thought something dangerous and crazy is exactly what a hooligan like Kaneda would do with a high-powered machine.

I finished a model of Kaneda's bike, and added it to the Kaneda!-tober display. The model has an over-abundance of stickers on the cowling to depict the bike as it appears on Otomo's illustration of the old DVD release.
