Just bought one of the fixer-upper breakout rex's from chronicle. I would say if you are on the fence, don't like the original price or cant afford it, and have a bit of painting or modeling experience(depending on what the piece itself needs, they sent me pictures of my options to choose from along with the price they would sell it for), go this route.

It is a significant savings and Amy is a pleasure to work with. My particular one needs a new paint job but has no physical damage to the piece. I already have Manuel Unda ready to do the work for me, he just has to finish the other projects he has on his plate for me.

Here's my bad girl. Shout-out to Chronicle Collectibles for exceptional service and communication. Despite the Toynami debacle worries, I kept my order. Glad I did; they delivered something that, once unboxed and in-hand, had me in awe. And that's good enough for me.

I am finally getting one of these beauties, thanks to Amy at Chronicle for being so great to work with!
When it arrives I will be doing a strip and repaint!

I cancelled mine today (with CDUK.) Heads up for any fellow Brits after this piece.

I'm happy enough with the 1/5 female bust I've got on P-O. That's all the JP I need.

(I'm planning on bringing my collecting to a close, so I'm gearing it toward a handful of must-have big pieces. 4 bestas max kind of thing.

And weirdly, Chronicle's stuff is really expensive over here in the UK. I mean, the 1/5 bust is £860, whereas the breakout is £520. I think the bust is much better value.
