What do you use to display these statues?

I've been interested in getting a Besta for my growing 1/4 statue collection, but I've quickly realized that they are mostly going to be Prime One and that Prime One's status are often anywhere from 25 or so inches all the way up to around 34". Besta really is not going to cut it there. What do you guys use for display cases for these statues? Any recommendations? I would rather have them inside a case than just sitting on top of it or on top of a pedestal or something.

Pax is the way to go. The large unit can hold 1/3 and 1/4 scale statues comfortably. Here are a few pics of part of my display room:

If you're interested I can provide a link to a good DIY. let me know.

I'd love to know what glass you use for your doors.

Here's the DIY, the author is very detailed and all the parts you need to order have links. Be sure to install the metal brackets on the shelves, will make them very sturdy. I have the 39x23x96 size Pax Cabinets.

I also bought melamine edge tape to put over the front of the metal bracket to provide a nice finish

BTW do my photobucket pictures I posted above show up? I've had problems recently with photobucket.

Sure, happy to help. The doors are 100% clear plexiglass. You can order it from any acrylic plexiglass manufacturer, they're pretty much found all over the place. I ordered the custom sheets cut to cover the perimeter of the opening, and make sure you get them 1/4" thick. But they are heavy so you need to order robust hinges and also use magnets on the opposite end to make sure they close flush. This is all in the DIY I posted above.

You will need to invest some time and cut 3 slots in the plexiglass to accommodate the hinges. I did this myself using a small Dremel tool from home depot and I had zero experience using a Dremel prior to this LOL!!

It requires some patience but if you take the time you should be very happy with the results. All in each cabinet cost ~$400 (pax, shelves, lighting, hinges, doors, magnets, support brackets etc)

and I also got wifi Wemo light plugs and connected them to my Alexa in the room. You can operate the lights simply by saying "Alexa turn on display lights".
