Sorry, I just figured out how to include photo!

THe box had some dents to it, otherwise just the hair piece broke off. I figured they would have a lot more heads.... WOuldn't they have some from regular line. It's the same normal head for the exclusive edition.

Doesn't look TOO bad - but you have to make the call if you could put up with it for a reasonable discount.

That being said - they TOTALLY have spares floating around - but good luck getting someone helpful enough to pick one out of the warehouse for you.

Like I said - unless you get lucky, you'll get "cut & paste" responses. They often want to kick you to the kerb ASAP rather than make a serious attempt to satisfy customers.

Thanks for the advice. I'll try to bug em for a new head.

I've bought 5 statues from them. This was their original response.


Thanks for taking the time to send this information on over to us! We truly appreciate your patience while we checked our replacement inventory, although I have unfortunately found that we no longer have a replacement portrait to provide you with.

As your replacement had been received back on February 17th, we have since sold through our inventory of Captain Marvel- Exclusive. However, we do have some troubleshooting advice that may help to resolve this with a quick fix at home!

If you want to perform a repair, I can recommend using Zap-a-Gap (medium strength/green label) to reattach the broken part of her hair back onto the portrait. You should be able to find this brand at your local hobby/craft store (such as Michael's), your local home improvement store (such as Lowe's or Home Depot), or online.

We apologize again for being unable to find you a replacement, and for any disappointment this may have caused you. Please feel free to reply if you need any additional assistance!

Yeah - "Ashley" I got her on my last "go round" - and there you see "cut & paste" responses - good luck though!

Yeah, companies manufacture excess quantities to deal with these kinds of situations, and if that's the non-exclusive head, they should have some spares.

"Go buy some glue" -- really? SMH.

Update:

REally no update. I asked for a replacement head two times. Since the regular head on my ex version is the one with the broken hair.

Should I call them? I tried once and no one answered.

Total BS, you should call. They have regulars available to give replacement parts, this is a no brainer for SS. They might be swamped, but it should take no longer than 4-5 business days for them to get back to you. Make sure your photos aren't too large in size, that could delay a response.

I called, and they told me Ashley is busy. They are swamped with Thanos selling out in 10 minutes.

She said Ashley will likely email me back....
