You were so preoccupied with whether or not you could spend £500 on a statue, you didn't stop to think if you should!

PC buy at wholesale, and receive numerous items as part of a shipment. I feel like there should be some room in there to save us some money, over ordering directly from CC.

But as Amanasaur said, I'd rather get it from CC than miss out altogether.

Fingers crossed.

Well according to Paul here.

There will be no seams on CC statues,so this statue will be shipped as one piece. The box size would be like a small refrigerator.

He really said that.

I would rather have a disassembled statue that clicks or something than opening the box to a figure with broken arms and tail. There's no way you can guarantee a floating arm won't get pulled by something in the box, specially if the shipment is overseas. I don't see CC risking the integrity of the statue by having no seams. It's a price too high

I am totally in favor of seam free, especially the Rex itself

Getting my Breakout Rex delivered like

Bonus points to Chronicle if you ship the life sized Velociraptor bust in a box that looks like this.

The rex should be one piece and the rest should be in parts needing assembled. That should allow it to get fairly small actually. I was looking at my old original Kenner rex and it is larger than this rex, but does not take up a ton of space. Provided the fence comes away from the base it should compact down pretty small.

Lol, it IS too small

I've got it ordered and am so exited for this one. You guys did an amazing job, as long as the factory paint holds up this may be the best Jurassic Park collectible we ever get! My only two issues to be a whiny turd about are the size and the wonky ankle.

Stingray is right, the breakout rex is the same scale as the kenner toy and horizon model, only a bit shorter because it's crouching. I have a maquette that scale and IMO its just not big enough to be a real centerpiece. Id love to be able to replace Sideshows tyrant Rex (never been a fan of the pose or sculpt) with a Chronicle masterpiece. But sadly this Rexy's just a bit too small for that

Oh, and to anybody worrying about seams or box sizes, I'm gessing you havent dipped into the Dinosauria line. All of SS's dinos are one piece and it hasnt been an issue. The Tyrant Rex is considerably larger than breakout but it's box is just 33"x18".

Edit:
Just put it together you guys were talking about seams and boxes for a 1/5 rex. That makes a lot more sense
