I remember, very vividly, my introduction to this piece. I had just started collecting Sideshow and fell in love with the Venom comiquette. I would just stare at the photos on Sideshow's website, though it was already sold out. I had gone into a LCS and found out from the owner they had just sold their last one (of 3) for $250.00 a few days before.

I never saw it that low ever again. I did manage to get one a year or so later for like $800 and then sold it when I moved from my old apartment to my house. Now, they go for $1,300+.

I owned it as well . Then SS decided to abandon the comiquette line to a certain degree and so i just sold all my comiquettes except for Spidey. Wife got upset coz she really liked the Venom comiquette lol.

Being in the market for a Venom statue, I've looked at both, but I think the Kotobukiya one is more my speed.

My enthusiasm is dwindling for this with the launch of the XM Venom. I really wish I was getting this sooner or at least seeing some production piece videos.

I'm still pumped for this one. XM's was solid but I just liked SS's better. To be fair XM was never on the table for me anyway. I'm not paying what it costs to get an XM piece to my door. So it was between this and Prime 1. In the end I went with SS. I saw it in person and it's awesome. It's huge.
