My thoughts exactly. The XM pieces are impressive for sure, just not for me.

I feel the exact same way, Green lantern and Aquaman looked cool but have not seen tweeterheads yet

I like tweeterhead batman, superman, Joker (plus bud and lou) better than the xm concept art I have seen.
Part of the issue is not a fan of rebirth costumes.

I do like xm wonderwoman but it is so different from the tweeterhead version, the xm is realistic the twetterhead is comic book like.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

I don’t get Aquaman on a seahorse. One of his main superpowers is that he can swim at super speed. It’s like a Flash statue on a horse or Superman on a giant bird.

It’s good that we are getting so many choices! I hope XM also expand the character pool for the DC line! There are so many great DC characters that has yet to be made into quality statues. It’s unfortunate DC statues have less diversity of characters than Marvel statues.

Not a fan of that design choice too. It does look really cool though.

Maybe it's inspired by the Super Friends.

The seashorse thing is a callback to the late Silver age.

The filmation cartoon from the mid sixties was still big in syndication when I was a kid in the seventies. He was constantly seen on his steed (I think his name was Storm? With Aqualad's being Imp...maybe). Fun cartoon.

Probably won't make a lick of sense to anyone who grew up with a post Crisis angry, hook-guy, but I love that it channels a retro appeal while still being beautifully designed (I LOVE the composition of it - hope the actual statue doesn't deviate ).

I wasn't alive in the 60's but I do remember watching that cartoon in reruns and Aquaman on a seahorse always stuck in my mind. I've also seen Alex Ross illustrate Aquaman on a seahorse so that makes the statue even more appealing to me.

Love the seahorse some other options that tweeterhead could use

I don't know about riding some undersea creature, but I do think he should have one as part of his display.
