Definitely, the large statue backdrop feels very superfluous, i also find the figure itself to be a bit plain looking, very clean beautiful paints though.

I'm not going to lie guys, this wasn't one of my favourites. The eyes were a problem for me, and I feel like the angel statue behind her is a bit too dark. Quite a few other people at the show liked her though.

This portrait looks better, with pink lips - and not red-
I think the paint on the statue is hideous. Why not a paint imitating some white marble, as the base ... And what is she looking in the sky? A flight of pink elephants? She looks to be a little bit stoned...
Unpainted, this statue was a must-have. Now, I don't know...

This is the issue i have with Magdalena. I have gotten over the dark statue behind because it actually goes well with the colors of Darkness and Witchblade. The eyes do have that deer in the headlights look and I think would be much better if they were looking straight ahead at the viewer instead of off in the distant background.

Whereas the Luke Squadron leader portrait's eyes works because of what it is in reference to....Magdalena does not. I have to be consistent for consistency sake. If I blast the SS Rogue PF airhead portrait...I have to blast the pink elephants in the sky look of Magdalena as well.

Outside of the eyes...I think the rest of the statue is great.

XM should have offered two options. One with the background statue and one without the background statue, and sell this at 35% less and include and image of the background statue for display purposes.

Shld be this year, i think she was up for preorder the first half of the year. Xm normally releases their stuff 6mnths after official preorders.
