Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Hey,Dr Teng. Your's looking good. Thanks for sharing.

Savage, yeah, they could have done a better job then just merely printing the name on the base.

Packageing: 7/10

The usual black box from Koto, not much going on but it's just a container so don't care.
The styrofoam is soft and crumbly but it served its purpose well.

Sculpt: 8/10

The overall sculpt is decent, points are taken off for the could-be-better pose and missing details but a good looking piece for sure.
The statue is fixed to the base, not removable.
Light up effect is cool but not a necessary component.

Base: 5/10

The base is not dispaly friendly at all, takes up A LOT of spaceand "Iron man" text on the base is printed and silly looking.
The base could really use some improvememnts.

Paint app: 6/10

I really wish more points could be given but at some spots the paint app is simply unacceptable...
Many details are lost due to the thick paint layers and bleeding-over here and there, many lousy touch-up marks as if they're done by kids.
The gold paint on the left bicept is brushed on with nasty paint storkes and several large, uneven gold blobs are observed on it's right leg.
The red color matches the movie well but only slightly metallic.
The overall glossy effect is good not great, I'll re-do the glossing myself.

Overall: 7/10

A cool statue, not great but good, very much like a large action figure in fact...
Slightly larger than 1/6 scale, paint over the stupid name on the base and it could be displayed with your Bowen collection.
If SS ever wake up and do a 1/4 movie maquette this guy is going on the bay.

That was a great review, with notable points. thanks. i try to avoid metal figures that are over-painted, it's like the difference between a 1/18 $20.00 Maisto to $100 Kyosho model.

Hey Guys, I have a question. Is it possible to chrome this statue. I would love to chrome him, even if the light function not works anymore.
Maybe a stupid thought, but if this works I would chrome the base also.
What ya think?
