Sideshow Rogue Maquette

I just received my Rogue Maquette and it has A LOT of issues:

- The "X" patch on the jacket is halfway peeled off from the jacket
- Paint is cracked along the front of the collar
- Dings and paint smudges along the body
- Sloppy / incomplete paint job on the black "X" icon on her bodysuit
- Sloppy green paint job along the seam of her leg
- Embedded finger smudges on her right butt cheek
- Chip in her lower back
- Scratches on her left leg, just above her knee high boot
- Scratches and smudges on her left rib cage
- Drip stains on her chest
- Chips, scratches, and paint smudges on her abdomen
- Paint application on Rogue's mouth looks dull and flat

I'm pretty disappointed and upset about the lack of QC on this statue, especially for the price. There are literally so many issues that I couldn't fit all of the web friendly pics into the SS "replacement email".

The good news is that appears to be such a total failure that it should be easy to secure a replacement.

The concern there is it's so bad, it makes you wonder if this is someone else's return? Hoping that this second batch isn't all like that!

It does appear that way.

Mind you, mine has sloppy yellow paint where the right thumb meets the metal saw. There is a yellow dot on the upper thigh, where a dot of green paint is missing. The original reg portrait featured a badly painted eyelid, which i fixed myself, as the replacement portrait did not look as good (the hair had flat spots?).

Other than that, Rogue is a keeper

I got mine from the new batch, no issues other than getting the saw to fit all the way down.

I'm not real sure I'll be able to get her hand back out of the blade if I need to pack it up, but that's a future me problem.

Man, that is terrible Toaster. I hope you get a replacement or a full refund.

Damn Toaster, this statue is rough. I'm sure you will have no issues getting a replacement.

It looks like her "X" symbol was colored in (poorly) with a magic marker!

Man this looks like a case where the later batch was done super poorly. The first batch was pretty pristine from what I can remember. Sometimes practice doesn't make perfect I guess.

I hope this doesn't come across in the wrong way......but as terrible as those issues are - in my experience it's kinda the "norm" for SS.

I don't condone it or suggest that you accept this trash.....but unfortunately, this is SS level of Quality Assurance.
