Unfortunately, and I hope it's just coincidence, but it seems the less "Star Warsy" it gets (force, sabers, creatures) the better it is.

Good. We start on those tomorrow. Because the first five haven't exactly dazzled us even close to Season 1 and that pains me. Seems like the show is finally getting started on E06.

That stuff is all supposed to be scarce. The more common it becomes, the less special.

We just started and E01 was nice warmup, but E03-05 was indeed slow and 'what is the point'.
Nice to hear rest will be good, like Season 1.

While I see the story needing to be set, I also agree, could have done E01-06 in 3.

While I agree, I think the bigger problem is once those elements come into play, the writing seems to get phoned in, trying to rely entirely on the specialness.
