He was an absolute icon of mine. Think I have every album by him, my brother is even worse(he introduced me to him), he was the best of his generation, playing all instruments, writing all his songs (and more for other people) & producing everything on his albums. Definition of Genius. This one hurts more than Bowie I remember ordering the PPV concert on NYE on 1999. HAve it now on DVD

Saw him in NC back in 88. Still the best concert I've ever seen. He was just an amazing artist. Out of all the recent deaths in music, this is the one that really blew my mind. Rest in peace.
