I've just been watching the TV show QI (Quite Interesting). If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it . . . very funny and very interesting. Tonight they were talking about death and some interesting topics came up which I thought I would share:
1. In Ghana, you can have a custom made coffin in pretty much any shape or design you can think of. Here's some of the current designs people have chosen to be buried in:
2. If a zombie plague occured, it has been calculated it would take no more than 38 days for the entire population of the earth to become infected.
3. Most bizarrely of all, there is a Seattle based company called See Me Rot
http://www.seemerot.com/ which apparently will place a live cam in your deceased loved one's coffin so you can 'still see them' long after their buried . . . as their tag line says "Being dead and buried doesn't mean you can't have friends over"
