I had a guy that bought an item off of ebay and he wrote and said it arrived cracked and asked how we go about filing a claim. I got all the info and sent it to him so that he didn't have to waste money on sending it back from California to Ohio and he waited for over a month and filed a dispute at the last minute. By that time I figured he already filed and got his money back.
He bought it on 3/31 and filed a dispute on 5/10. On top of that, he waited literally up to the very last minute to file the dispute to a claim and said it was the seller's responsibility to file not his, which is not the case because it can be either person. So of course Paypal sided with him and I had to file the claim at the very last minute and then I received an email saying that a letter was sent to him telling me that he received a letter shortly after I filed on 5/10. He didn't even mention it to me that he was suppose to take it in for inspection and they said I had 30 days after the letter was sent out and 2 weeks had already passed without him saying a word.
He had until June 9th to send it out and provide tracking and the Paypal lady said he had until June 9th at 10:06 pm and he provided it at 1:30 am on June 10th and they are allowing it. This was after she told me that at 10:06 it gets canceled and another lady magically says they always give an extra 24 hours after that. I am so angry right now because this guy has done this every single time, waiting to escalate it to a claim, would not respond to emails and I even had my boyfriend call him 3 times and he wouldn't respond to those and NOW he finally waits until the day after he was suppose to provide it and they still allow it.
