No more reboots, but if so, I rather Marvel have it back. Sony has no ideas what to do and that just creates bad movies. But if Marvel does get it back, no more reboots of Spidey after that. At this rate, we can have the film version of the Spider-Verse.

Probably do what they did with the second Hulk movie when it told the origin at the beginning to set up the rest of the film.

I'm pretty sure Feige stated recently that people are tired of seeing the origin of Spider-man and they would just jump right into it.

Buzz on Twitter today/tonight stating that a casting call for Amazing Spider-man 3 has gone out for filming in Atlanta, Georgia in March of this year. Casting call lists Garfield and Dehaan so thoughts of a reboot seem dashed. I also doubt that Marvel Studios is involved to the extent speculated but who knows.

This is great news .

Spider-Man will appear in another MCU film (hopefully Civil War) before getting his new solo film.

Despite being a fan the first Amazing Spider-Man film Garfield, I think this is great news.

YES!

Btw, Marvel gave Sony a lot of power in saying yes and no to things, among other things. Still happy about this news.
