HCG are now selling a stand for this, pretty pricey for a piece of perspex, but it looks the part when set up..

I received my Tomenosuke Blaster in UK today. Passed through UK customs no problem. HCG enclosed a letter in the parcel explaining why the Blaster was legal for UK and stating it was a non-firing prop replica. Total price paid £878 ( blaster and shipping £714 + customs charge £164 ). Arrived from US in 2 days, then sat in customs for 3 weeks, but well worth the wait. It's a beautiful piece.

Ahhh UK customs, making this hobby less enjoyable and way more expensive since the dawn of time.

Glad you're happy however, I wish I'd gotten one now.

Thanks. Just purchased the display stand. £81.32 including shipping and then the dreaded customs charge to go on top. Emailed HCG and they have the stands in stock now. Hopefully custom clearing will be a bit faster this time.

It should be, I order from SSC a lot and it's generally only a couple of days waiting for an item to be released. It imagine the delay was simply due to the item in question being a replica weapon. Get some pictures up when you have it all if you can.

Interesting the Blaster is finally wait listed at HCG .

Just thought I would mention I picked up the stand on the bay and really like it. At the time Feb 2015 ,HCG didnt have any stands for them .

I like the design on mine more . I have no connection to them just wanted people that bought a blaster another option to choose from .

Apparently this one wasn't quite good enough, here's the "ultimate evolution" version. Limited to 150 pieces.

http://www.hollywood-collectibles.co...roductid=16566

The grip color is correct and the grip frame is perfected
The grip end plate is now the correct shape.
The receiver shape is improved.
The safety area has been made accurate and the gap between the bolt sleeve and receiver has been eliminated.
The laser has been moved closer to the receiver.
The front trigger blade shape is completely redone.
Improved switch cover shape
Offered as a fully assembled, finished replica

That sounds like a lot of innaccuracies on the previous model. How do we know this new one isn't off by a similar margin?

They'll be selling revisions of this thing as long as they can get away with it.
