Sorry, I probably should have mentioned that. I've edited the title but I believe it only changes within this thread and won't be seen by anybody that hasn't subbed etc.

OMG it's one of those films that should be required viewing. It's one of those you will love or hate. For some it was a life changer. First time I saw it it was meh because I expected a Harrison ford action film especially after Star Wars and ROTLA, plus it didn't help drinking a bit. Saw it a year later again on VHS and holy shoot it was incredible. I've seen it in the theaters every time it was rereleased. A truly amazing film for its day. Can't tell you how many sci Fi films I've seen since have influences from Blade Runner. A masterpiece IMHO. A must see man. A film you study. Get the 5 DVD set that has all the versions made with a ton of features. Even the making of this film was fascinating. I got some good books on this film. I love it. The Vangelis soundtrack is beautifully mesmerizing

This picture HCG are using on their website pre-orders, is likely NOT the final product. See the fine print on the bottom of the picture. Also, it is a photo of the very limited special 2013 edition of only 10 or so built and finished by Tomenosuke's Nobu-San. They went for around $3,500 to $5,000 each.
The Tomenosuke blaster on the HCG website will still look very cool, but not the special Blued version shown in the interim pre-order picture. Haven't seen a pic of the final production model yet...only preliminary pics but there are pics of the colourful cardboard box.
The Blaster will probably look more like the previous 2012 WOR-CON version by Tomenosuke...but will have all the new upgrades for 2014 and the grips will be more of an orange-amber color. Can check with Hollywood-Japan website for a more likely idea of the blaster in their preliminary photo of it (looks similar to the WOR-CON version...still cool).
50 completed models of the Blaster have sold out on preorders on the HCG website. There are going to be a total of 200 of these pre-assembled blasters available by August 2014. Order one elsewhere, before all of the 200 are gone. Also there are going to be 100 unassembled models KIT versions of this blaster for those who like kits and who want to save about $350 or so. Total 200 built plus 100 kits = 300 units worldwide.

Not getting this piece will be one of my big regrets. I have an older Coyle piece used just for display purposes, but it is garbage next to this one.
