new Darth Vader Helmet at NYCC 2015?

please kindly google for "NYCC 2015 efx" and you will see a some pictures of a Darth Vader helmet.

This looks like a new digitally sculpted and printed Darth Vader Helmet.

Does any kind souls have any info on this new Darth Vader helmet?

This new helmet looks to be injection molded.

Any info is much appreciated

This new helmet is different from the previous eFX Darth Vader helmet.

if you see the tasks carefully. The tasks are attached onto the center mouth piece. This looks like injection modeled.

Also all the vents of the center mouth piece are almost perfect in shape. It could be that this helmet was 3D sculpted and printed.

Also the left side of the helmet is the same as the right side.

In the previous resin helmet, the left side slightly differs from the right side.

These are my observations on this new helmet.

I have written to Brian Ono for more info on this helmet. Am still waiting for a reply.

Will post here if I am lucky enough to get a reply.

Could this be something like their PCR cheaper helmets? No fiberglass, but ABS maybe - see the smooth interior of the dome?

Or is this the Anovos helmet? Need to look at Anovos site to see what Vader are they making

Correct, that's exactly what they are. Both Vader and the Stormtrooper had a different feel because they were ABS.

I know of the MR CE/EFX PCR Stormtrooper helmet.

But did you hold this Vader helmet in your hand? Anymore details about it? What is EFX going to do?

I just touched the helmet. I don't have any release details, but the rep there said that Vader and the Stormtrooper were both ABS.
