I liked the manga very much and I would have bought the statue.
But the price is just ridiculous.

Even in a crowded collection this will command attention.
Doubt I'd pay even half the price, especially for dubious Chinese fabrication.

Completely lost me at the price.
$800 range was perfect for these kinds of statues.
At BBTS it comes out to over $1500 when I include tax.

Hard to justify spending $1300 to $1500 for 1/6th scale figures. As much as I love the manga and anime, this will have to be a pass.

Well, looks like BBTS is now sold out of this one.

I balked at the price, but can see others didn't hesitate. Honestly if this is rare Claymore piece it could appreciate in value.

There aren't that many high end Claymore pieces produced so far. I guess fans are just happy to see something, regardless of the price.

Or BBTS may not have had many pieces. Sometimes they increase allocations based on demand especially for items a long time off.

They probably didn't have too many, or want to put it back up again at a higher price it is bbts :P However figurama does usually sell out (this isn't yet). Though that doesn't mean it'll hold it's value, their Trigun statue for example has gone for less then original retail price (and way less when you include the shipping they had to pay).
