They don't have the T1 license.

You know, they wouldn't necessarily need the T1 license unless it's an all in kind of license. Who the eff makes a replica of the T1 endoskeleton puppet? No one except CC would ever bother...

Of course they would need it. Do you mean a functional poseable piece or a statue? Sideshow is making an Endo Maquette and Prime 1 should be also.

Poseable piece. They obviously don't have the right to statues but there may be something there to snatch up for producing exact replicas of T1 puppets, as unlikely as it is. They didn't bother with ED-209 or Cain so it's safe to assume puppets are really up there in price and most everyone is content with statues anyway.

Getting my hands on a very high end poseable endo piece is appealing. It's the step up from static endo statues. If you've got one statue then you've basically seen what all of them have to offer. I'm certain Hot Toys endo's offer posing capabilities, but I'm really talking about the high end props here, not mid end toys.

I am fairly certain CC didn't magically forget about the endo puppets, so either they won't do them even if they were allowed or they are under the statue license that SS has. In either case my speculation is moot; it's not happening unless SS decides to man up.

I had the HT endo and it was a novelty, you really couldn't pose it much due to the joints. A true metal stop motion puppet would be extremely expensive to make, I don't see anyone doing that other than a one off custom job. I would love one also, the 1:1 life size chronicle one is semi-poseable, but that is probably as close as you will get. Even the SS Kong armature piece was non functional as I recall.
