I feel sorry for Gentle Giant collectors

I usually look at what they put out but I never buy gentle giant stuff. Too much Bowen and Sideshow for me to start with another company. However I cant believe how many convention exclusives they make and how impossible their system seems to be. It must frustrate the hell out of the diehard GG collectors. It always seems like your paying high premiums just to get a nice piece. Good luck to you guys

I agree with you. I used to collect all the SW busts (bad guys) from GG until last year when they started expanding the list with the Blister and UK exclusives.
I decided then that it was going to be too much hassle to continue so I sold my bust collection and I only kept a few statues and the maquettes.
Then they started making maquettes as exclusives too, so I sold that line also and now I only have a few statues from them.
I am glad that I jumped the boat before all this nonsense, they still make a great product but the way they handle their distribution is crazy.

Well they cured me of my army building. GG used to be my favorite company but this year was just too much even for me. I've given all but 1 of each of my clones their marching orders.

If things don't start getting better soon, I'm gonna quit giving GG any of my money.

man with the new green trooper exclusive it pissing me off, I only wanted some and guys and the clone troopers for my son but it looks like I may have to just give up

I actually think its kinda cool that GG give so many convention exclusives. It adds to the hunt which for me is the biggest trill in collecting. I feel kinda hollow once i do get the grail though lol.

thats exactly it. its collecting not just getting stuff and hunting is part of the fun
