Darth Vader Jumbo Chubby

Did anyone else get a Darth Vader Jumbo Chubby at comic con?
I sure did, and I must say..."Disappointed to the max."

There, said it.

The only reason I ordered it was because I tried everything I could to check out on pre order day, even if it meant I would have to order things I didn't want. Well when I opened it up today I was optimistic and thought I might enjoy the nesting doll. However once I pulled my sheened, up shined up hunk of $70 jumbo darth vader plastic and cracked open the "outer hull" if you will, I found a pocket full of air and the escaping smell of fresh plastic. There were no other dolls inside, no anakin, no mini darth, no whinny slave child, nothing. Just air and the immediate stamp of "CHUMP" across my forehead.


So thanks to Gentle Giant, I am now the proud owner of a $70 waste of space to shell the regular Darth Vader nesting doll, at an added cost!!!

LOL Great story. We all have ordered something to then be sad by the choice. The hard thing is you had to walk \ travel with it at CC. " hay check out the cool guy overthere. oh wait, is that a jumbo chubby!! " You can use it as a lunch box. Does it even open ?? funny

Well I guess it worked out in the end because before my disappointment and between waiting in line and getting yelled at for not having my utilities bill I did obtain a FREE C4 Hamster!!!!!!
