CoronaVirus shuts down all sports...
Looks like no sports for the foreseeable future...

I rarely attend events, just watch them on TV, so it won't affect me much. I'm mainly worried it will affect the gameplay. It must feel bizarre for sports teams to play to empty crowds.

Yeah it’s kind of like the month of July.

Wierd watching the UFC on ESPN with no audience in the arena, very quiet no crazy Brazilian crowd noise, very clinical and sanitized.

Of all the leagues reopened, NHL is the best to watch. I do not like the BLM messages plastered all over the court, fields, uniforms and other signage.

Ratings for NBA and MLB are pretty terrible. NBA has been unwatchable for a long time now so not really surprised.

Same. UFC is only thing I watch anymore and don’t expect to ever watch any other sport again. I know many who are done with most major sports over all this.

I quit watching all professional sports a few years ago. I do not need professional athletes telling me how to think anymore than I need actors to do it. Sports used to be in the same vein for me as movies. An escape from the reality around me. They are just as bad as watching an actors award show now.
At least when I go to see a movie the actor can no longer spontaneously spout off whatever nonsense they have decided I need to listen to.
If I want to know about politics there are plenty of other outlets to go for that.

Aside from a few Baseball games for a few innings, that's about it. I'm done with NBA especially after reliving my childhood Glory days of the Bulls in last dance. Might tune in the last finals game just for historical purposes.

If you guys didn't like political messages being displayed during games, you must really hate that many games are now being postponed for political reasons. NBA, WNBA, MLB, MLS and Tennis have all postponed games/matches as a form of protest.
