JP could potentially be the most expensive license ECC has ever had?, so they probably feel the need to make a lot of products to justify that cost. For such a small company, I think this is the way to go about it, but I know a lot of folks are getting some JP fatigue. I'm just glad they are staying active.

Did you wind up buying the Faun maquette? I also thought the bust was a pretty big miss, but I dig the maquette.
I remember you enjoying the maquette. the bust was so disappointing it influenced me heavily on their E.T. but not like I NEEDED a 5K E.T. anyway.
Which reminds me I have not watched any reviews of...

ECC, once the BEST company, has become nowadays a joke. No movement in her threads, nothing, nada.

George's and Steve's decision to go full-Dino might be the WORST decision a TOP company in ths hobby ever made bar the reluctance of Sideshow to go full-in 1/3 lines when Forps was screaming years and years ago(with my original Forps nickname).

ECC left the field open for PCS (PCS of all people!!!) regarding monsters and we, monster (amongst others) collectors, are left with a company with subpar quality and sculpts.

What do you guys think about the likeness? I like it, but don't really love it and I already got Abe on PO. I don't think I can justify over $4k for the set. I think the blank facial expression doesn't really work well with this pose, either.

Likeness is good IMO. Feels like Perlman and isn't stylized like the Blitzway (which is still a great statue, just not as lifelike). I wouldn't say the expression is blank either. He's aiming, eyes are focused and mouth is tight.

My only gripe is the pose. Would've been nice to get a bit more torque in the body so the long jacket isn't just falling at his side, but it does admittedly look like an actor taking promotional photos in the suit and that must have been the goal. Much like ECC's other stuff, it's a very matter-of-fact, no-frills maquette, focusing entirely on the character's design...

...which begs the question: why is their JP3 Raptor slipping on an invisible banana?

ECC has the worst prices, everything is so expensive, how is this 2300 !! it just makes no sense, would be surprised to actually see someone buy this at that price
