Good to know, thanks. I'll stick with what I've got.

Did anyone pick up the latest Guardians of the Galaxy Omni by Abnett and Landing? If so, is it still worth buying if I own the Thanos Imperative TPB?

I do not have it (yet) but I highly recommend it. this is one of those rare modern runs in which I had a lot of fun. The film took a lot of inspiration from the book so you will find it very familiar.
I also recommend you to check the Annihilation and Annihilation Conquest story arcs. GOTG deals with the aftermath of those two important events so there is a lot of references to them. Those omnibuses will cost you a pretty penny, but you can find them cheaper in TPB and digital formats.

Very excited to get this one and for retail price at that... I'm SO hoping it appears on my desk before the end of the day.

Nevermind; I see that you already did your homework. Good pick up.

Yessir... and Annihilation Conquest should be here by Tuesday
I had some catching up to do but I cannot WAIT to dive into these cosmic stories.
Thanks for the advice on Guardians, I was pretty sure I was going to pick it up but just wanted to make sure I would be getting bang for my buck.

Officially have Annihilation and Annihilation: Conquest sealed and got them both at retail. Very happy about that and excited to see my Omni collection grow just a little bit more! I'm currently working my way through The Trial of Capt America Omni which I am enjoying way more than I thought I would as I'm not really into that character. It seems like small parts were used as some inspiration in the Civil War movie such as Zemo's quest to uncover some of Bucky's past. Afterwards I'll be starting Annihilation, and I am very excited for that one as Marvel cosmic is my favourite types of comics to read.

I'm thinking about picking up the re-released collection of the "Infinity Watch vol.1" on TPB as well as the soon to be released vol. 2. but before I do, has anyone heard of them being thrown into an upcoming omnibus? I'd much rather just wait for one of those but not if it is not even on the radar.
