Reminds me of the Turner cover with the snake. They made a statue of this, but it isn't very good IMO.

I don't necessarily love Turner's style, but the artistic idea of that cover is cool and it seems they are taking some cues from that.

That is how Red Sonja should look.
Hopefully this new one doesn't take up unnecessary room. I didn't care for the up-stretched arm on the first.

I have the statue and comic and love it. I'm glad sideshow is using the snake, and based on the tease the snake looks awesome. Again SS interpretation of sonja will be epic I'm sure!

This is my favorite take on Sonja. I like stronger features for this character:

I like this art too.
She doesn't have the square jaw used in the first PF, which is great.

But a womanly face, not a manly square jaw.

I agree with you, that and hopefully they do a better job with the paint application.

Yeah from the neck down
Although her portrait did look more feminine after some people did a repaint, the paint application on the original was really bad.

Yeah I'm pretty sure the paint apps were the real problem with the first PF. Otherwise it had a great pose, base, and the cape was super cool.

I also like Jim Lee's take:

I loved the face sculpt myself, it's the paint and eye color that are off for me. The only reason I still have the piece is because I think they nailed the sculpt and paint is fixable (when I get around to sending it off somewhere):
