I didn’t know that, so that’s news to me. I’m just going off a pic I saw on Facebook that showed the mark 1 on display to be terribly underscaled compared to their 1:2 Mark 50. Hence, I thought the only possible answer was that it was their 1:4 release.

ah, thanks. I'm dumb, forgot about it being in that pic. I will have to wait for the 1/4. Hopefully, it will come with a RDJ sculpt.

Agreed. I think the clothes part were too clean for a prisoner in a cave, not sure about the scale after show pics and for me $3k is just too expensive for a half scale.
I'll look forward to the 1/4 with the shooting fire pose as shown in their teaser below.

as nice as 1/2 scale is, for me it would be too big for display and too pricey. I'm looking forward to 1/4 scale. I wonder what the cost would be....

I’m getting out of 1/4 scale Iron Man, so if I finally want a Mark 1 (as I was waiting for a 1/4 scale for what seemed the longest time), it seems that 1/2 scale will be my last chance.
Since I’m getting the Mark 85, maybe I should get the Mark 1 to represent the beginning and the end.

Yes this will probable be your only option if you don't want 1/4 scale. You won't regret it definitely looks awesome. For me I'll be getting the 1/4 scale in the diorama as I'm already committed to the set. Will be a nice story from beginning to end.

Still kinda hard to tell the scale but looks great!
Don’t think I can pass this up.

I know it’s been said a thousand times, but the nameplates are alot of the time a requirement by the licensee. So in this case marvel/Disney may be insisting on the nameplates, if that’s the case and company doesn’t put it on then they don’t get approval.

Queen also said a lot of collectors like the name plates, so it’s hard to please everyone.

I actually don’t mind them either.
The name plate on the Mark 50 was far superior looking then the other ones they’ve been using.
Though I wouldn’t go out of my way to create name plates, some collectors do when pieces don’t have them.
