Can you imagine what kind of precedent it would set if she won? Ridiculous! You want to move out? Fine - support yourself.

She might win the suit for the High School tuition since her parents put her in a private school to begin with but I doubt she will get anything more then that... Basically once your 18 your parents are not responsible for you anymore... This is what happens when you spoil your kid rotten...

While i think this is the generation of entitlement you do have parents putting enormous pressure on their kids to get into college. If your going to push your kids into college be prepared to pay for it.

I wonder if she could argue verbal agreement. That might have some legitimacy. It's reasonable to assume that the terms of paying for school had changed once she started dating the bad boy. Her lawyers could argue that offering to pay for tuition never came with terms originally. To suddenly change the terms in order to control what she does and who she dates may be argued as a form of blackmail.
