The armor appears to lack the metallic sheen from the prototype. Could just be the lighting.

Still, the figure looks good.

I lost my faith in Weta after seeing the Superman production photos.

Its 45cm from the bottom of his feet to top of the head.

I really like it, the share size of the piece is amazing and is quite hefty. The yellow led lighted eye are very well done.

The sculpt and texture of the main polystone figure is great, as with all of Weta's ZSJL pieces so far.

The paint can always be better however I'm not complaining about it.

Only thing is the throne isn't polystone. It feels like some sort of hard weighty plastic (I'm not sure what the material is), when you tap it it sounds hollow. However it is painted in such a way it looks like weathered stone.

It makes for a stunning center piece. Its expensive but its nice having pieces that are made by a company that worked on the actual film.

Just my thoughts

Behold!

Absolutely blown away by this piece. The throne turned out awesome, and he has a lot of presence. I've re-watched some clips from the movie, and the statue has actually helped me notice details I didn't before. This is by far the most screen accurate Darkseid statue (makes sense given it used the original 3D files from the film). The paint choices turned out great too.

Originally I wasn't too phased on the light up feature, but it really does make it look like he walked right off the screen and sat down. I love the pose too.

I'm sure everyone who ordered him is going to be super happy. He's going to look great paired with Knightmare Batman!
