OK, besides Bendis's mom, who wants to know this?
I could not possibly care less about a cross-dressing ninja pretending to be an Avenger.
At least BMB gave me one thing... a perfect cut-off for collecting Avengers. Up to this point, I'd buy three-dimensional merch based on any Avengers team, from the Founders to the New Avengers. Hell, if someone made a licensed Deathcry bust, I'd probably buy it (though I'd hate myself in the morning.)
But several misleading covers and one screwed-up mission in Japan didn't make Echo a member of the NA (when did Cap officially offer her membership?), and even if they make it official this time, Echo / Ronin ain't an Avenger in my book. I ain't buyin' any Ronin stuff, and if Bendis doesn't learn how to write a team book (instead of making each issue a solo Avengers story, and having guest stars like Dr. Strange and Emma Frost steal the show), I ain't buyin "New New Avengers," either.
I say let that big robot who used to fight Marvel's Godzilla STEP on Ronin, and join the team in her place. He fits in just as well as she does.
