Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I'm glad Spain won, they deserved it both tonight and through the tournament.

I had Germany in the sweepstake at work though, so it would have been worth £120 to me if they'd won; so I was a little torn as to who I was supporting tonight!

Probably the best tournament in 20 years and the best team won. Congrats to Spain and to the great Torres. If they can keep this team together and get maybe a couple of decent centre halfs this team could win the World Cup.

Viva Espana! Well deserved win after 44 years since their last silverware. Credits to hardworking Torres, hustling defenders and Xavi who has been consistent and al round performer through out the tournament.
I think Germany short of ideas against a more technical team. Was worried their height & physique will be a distinctive advantage, i.e vs Portugal. Nevertheless, the best team won....

I hope that the English team were watching this and it gave them a good kick up the rear. Spain aren't the only big under-achievers in world football and look what they've accomplished, heck, look at what Turkey accomplished and apparantly they haven't got half the quality we have! Hopefully I can get to wear my England shirt in two years time!

Congratulations to Spain though, as Mark Lawrenson put it, "It was a 1-0 annihalation"
