Best sealer?

Any suggestions on the best brand of sealer/varnish to create a nice matte finish?

For a really nice "matte" finish (that slight sheen that is found
on most statues), try picking up some Armory Matte Sealer.

testers dull cote looks best on skin, and if you want no shine. I use Krylon Matte Finish on most pieces, its sort of a nice medium, Crystal Clear on shiny ones.

Danno or Anybody, know where I can buy the Armory Matte?
This is kind of hard to explain. So bear with me.
I painted a Black Spider-man and I want a light sheen to him. I've tried Krylon Matte but, it seems to take the rich Createx black color and turns it a shade of grey, under light. So, I figured I sprayed it on to thick and after repainting, I laid on a light dusting and wound up with rough spots.
Would Future work well for the finish I'm after?
Anybody have pics of different Sealers applied on black?
Also, does the sheen of the base coat change the sheen of a clear coat? I mean, if I spray a Satin clear over flat and then over matte. Would the flat base make the satin clear less shiny?

Thanks,
Sean
