I hope it also covers Jurassic Park, and they do mention Grant and Malcolm but of course they're going to be in Jurassic World 3 so who knows.
I would prefer it if they weren't articulated, but we'll see.

They deleted my comment on Facebook. Lol! Why the move to kickstarter? You pay into that, you are not guaranteed ANYTHING. I am sure this will be fine but I've been waiting years on items I've paid for on kickstarter. Why not just do pre-orders like they've been doing?

They are definitely doing Jurassic Park as well. Grant, Malcolm and an original Raptor were shown off at Toy Fair back in February.

I wouldn’t know specific details since this was only announced yesterday and they haven’t revealed anything more yet, but I would assume this line can only be done properly on a big scale if it’s funded by lots of people. That’s the impression I got from the Facebook live. They really want to make a lot of figures in this scale from all of the movies I imagine.

It sounded to me more like getting brand awareness than anything else.

People get caught up in the kickstarter buzz with the rewards and stretch goals and whatnot which means the vendor makes more money. I know because in another kickstarter campaign I bought more velociraptor figures than I probably should have. Lol!

The money raised is basically an interest-free loan. If the project stretches out to who knows how long and you want a refund, then you are at the mercy of the vendor to return your money. Kickstarter won't do jack.

How is that different from any other industry payment plan pre-order?
