Whats funny is i wouldn't hate SS's batman if they had done a fully sculpted modern comic batman first. My dislike for this statue primarily stems from the BullSh!t SS pulled making this part of the new line. Not to mention portrait-wise he looks way older than everyone in the line, ww,sups,harley, joker and catwoman! his love interest what the f#ck was SS thinking.

They were probably thinking that Zac Snyder was a visionary for making Batman older and incredibly bulky looking and wanted to copy that. We all know how BvS turned out.

Well most here know what Snyder was going for in relation to how it was sourced from the Dark Knight Returns. Whether it worked or not is up to the individual.

Batfleck was cool in the first film. But I can’t get over that he looks fat in JL. His cheeks are like hamster cheeks in that cowl.

I greatly prefer coming here and talking statues, but I do think there are probably a lot of people who gave up on forums as facebook groups became more and more popular.

SS Bats for myself. Though not my preferred modified costume choice, the higher level of sculptural prowess and the hyper details seals the deal for me. Prime has a nice action pose, but sculpt wise does not come close to Canale version.
