Hot Toys vs ThreeZero

Hot Toys vs ThreeZero - how do they compare?

The reason i ask is, other than the fact i don't own anything by ThreeZero, and own 3 Hot Toys

I have noticed that ThreeZero figures appear to be on average half the cost of a Hot Toys 1/6 figure.

ThreeZero have what appears to be some impressive figures based on Walking Dead characters in the works.

Three zero are also notorious for having terrible final products. Never look at their preview pics. Just look at their game of thrones products and compare proto to final product. You'll never think of them again

I like their Transformer figures (Bays/Classics). That's about it.

They've made some nice figures before, but they still have a long ways to go before they can even come close to Hot Toys quality.

I just got the Game of Thrones Daenerys from Three Zero. And there’s a reason why their figures cost less than Hot Toys. Dany is very good but not Hot Toys good. I also have the Breaking Bad Walter White which is decent.

I have Walter White and Jesse. They are pretty good. Not much for accessories.

I had their DOTM Megatron and I thought it felt cheap. Final product had paint issues. I was afraid to pose him because I thought he’d break. It literally felt like a plastic hasbro toy from the 80’s. Can’t say too much about anything else by them.

Thanks. I see now. I guess ThreeZero are on the way up, but it'll be time before they reach Hot Toys standards. To be fair, if you look back, Hot Toys has had some iffy moments also

I only have one threezero piece and that's Michael Myers. Its well done but obviously it is a masked figure and not a portrait. I have Fox Mulder on pre-order because I am a huge X-Files fan(The newest season sucks)Can't wait to see how it comes out. Wish they had the Dana Scully ready to go along with it but it is still in development.

I've never ordered from ThreeZero before and Mulder is my first pre-order. I've been eagerly awaiting to see what this will look like in hand. However, I'm also kind of nervous too because there have been no images of the Scully figure and I hope she will be on par with Mulder.
