my only beef with it indeed brother Joe and the "typical cop-out" I mentioned... bah... you can't have a killer like wolverine always letting someone off the hook especially after b*tching for three issue + about how he was gonna kill her...

Well my good man... He has at least switch back to his costume from the 80's...
as for Union Jack... he's the rumored addition to come in around issue 5... fingers crossed.

Awesome to hear you enjoyed this Call... it sounds a lot like this book is getting some good buzz and so it would be cool to see a kick ass British team like this have some staying power... Even Pete Wisdom seems more mature now that Claremont doesn't have him calling everyone "petal"... and again... Spitfire gets the award for coolest and most gruesome skrull killing this week.

I didn't think it was anything special. It was good but not great. I also don't think what happened in the end was what a lot of people are thinking happened either that would really have made the book shocking.
As for Spitfire, jesus, couldn't she have killed the Skrull some other way? Does she have super duper jaw power or something?

I don't think the ending is what it seems to be either.
But, the future doesn't look to great for them either.
Do you read the letter pages?
