Same here. Sorry dude. Was it a glass case or a book case?
I can't believe that. I might look into insuring my collection.

D@mn!
I'm sorry to hear this too.
The crashing case senario is one of the collectors worst nightmares. Many times have I pondered what I would do if this were to happen. Being physically ill is the very first thing that comes to mind.

Thanks guys, I appreciate all your sympathetic comments.
Well, I woke up a few minutes ago and yes, it really did happen...it wasn't a bad dream. If I were a millionaire, I'd just go to ebay and start buying everything to replace them but seeing how I'm barely keeping up as it is, it's time to rebuild.
Comicboy, thanks for the tip. My roommate is good at matching colors what I'm worried about is matching the type of paint (gloss, texture, etc). Specifically, I need to find out what kind of white paint the clone trooper and Amidala uses. I'll be posting pictures in the Sculptor's forum as soon as I can because I know those guys really know their sh!t. I'm just waiting for my girlfriend to bring over the digital camera so I can take close up pictures of the seams and breaks. I'm going to do the best I can in fixing them myself and then I'll see if there's a local sculpting guru than can put some finishing touches to make the repairs invisible.
The only good thing that will come of this is that I've always wanted to learn how to sculpt/paint and this event will force me to take a crash course.
Well, back to the disaster....going to spend the day cleaning and keeping busy. I need to step away from this for a day or two.
