If you measure the promo photos using the statues physical height, and using that as reference to estimate the angled distance from his heel to his head (refer to the photos on the previous page) he’s about 22” which is only a bit above 7 feet tall. His bulk is certainly there, just not his height.
As such he’s closer to 1/5 scale than he is to 1/4 scale. Just like Thanos on Throne is much closer to 1/3 scale than to the 1/4 scales of the Rogue and Magneto ‘Sideshow Maquettes’.

when you blow it up and put him in scale with the current x-men line it really puts in into perspective

People would feel better about the price at that increased size

but we should be getting a bigger statue, ESPECIALLY to justify the price tag

$1400 for 1/5th scale, hilarious! If these projections are close, there will a lot of disappointed customers out there

This is funny...because it will probably be true. It will be justified by the intricate silver paint job or something.

And then it'll end up having the same production paint that is on the Captain Phasma PF!

Maybe Sideshow messed up the scale in that lineup pic. They’ve messed up before so who knows. 27inches from the top of his head instead of his hand.

Bloody hell, forgot to consider height of the base. Hoping the SS line-up pic is skewed, and he is at least closer to scale, as 22” would be short.

If that’s the case, I might be inclined to jump in. For that much money, there needs to be something (apart from character) that justifies the increased expenditure. Detail, material, size, etc.
