wow, some people get too worked over the hobby from the other thread

sometimes I think internet communities end up getting people even more obsessed over their hobbies

Not just hobbies ... but I disagree with the generalization of saying "people" everything was going just fine until the cheer leaders showed up.

I'm on the line about it. I'd like it for my Alpha set, but I'm not a huge character fan and it cost a little more than I thought it would. There's some others I'd like more (Talisman, Isis) and some coming out on my list (CB's Magik, Fire, Ice, Hawkgirl, whom there's been no updates on in awhile) and some Bowens. I've got to reign myself in some or Jason will kill me. That, and I don't want to send J. too much stuff.

why does it matter to al if I love bowen, hate bowen ,or don't care if he exists or not? it shouldn't affect his love for his hobby or his collection?

Because to "some people" nothing but unquestioning acceptance, constant praise and unending agitation is acceptable ... and unfortunately for those people, most of us just don't roll that way.

More than just "a little."

As soon as Keith finishes the never ending story that has become the Super Skrull, I hope to have some updates.

I'll also have some updates on Barda next week, we've had to change the pose a bit because the piece wouldn't balance properly the way I wanted it.

It long since past the point of "bordering" ... I'd say it's been more of a case of illegal immigration for a long time now.

Don't get me wrong, he seems to be a nice guy and all, but I've never understood the "groupie mentality" ... sometimes when I read his posts all I can think of are those screaming teenagers from the 50's seeing Elvis and the Beatles for the first time.
