Yup, I started with the larger scale, but I'm now favoring the Kotos and Bowens.

I don't like statues that have real clothing and leather on them so no matter how good a premium format's sculpt is, I am never going to buy one. Comiquettes are okay for me though.

Same here. Although I started with 1/10 scale pieces in the late 90's, and took a 7 year break for most part of the last decade, my passion for the hobby was rekindled by 1/4 and 1/5 scale pieces. Nowadays, I feel more comfortable with 1/6 and 1/7 scale pieces though. I find their size more convenient for display and for my budget.

It's not like he's selling statues for $150 like the old days. Bowen's stuff is getting pretty pricey too dude.

Some are, but some can still be had for less than $200 and some for even much less than that.
