Ok been after this one for a while, was holding out for the EX but i got this at like half the price of what the EX is going for and really grenade belt just isn't worth it lol.
So yeah the Captain Rex PF! It's awesome. The base is stupidly heavy, like too heavy to pick up one handed, no reason for this at all, i was gonna put him in one of my detolfs but now i'm scared
But yeah really nicely done, great use of mixed media, love the destroyed Super Battle Droid on the base and pistols can be removed from the holsters. The head is on a ball joint like the Clone Trooper PF but this one is done much better with a much better range, really changes the look of the statue when you have him looking up instead of face on, i hope they keep doing this on future PFs.
The EX really should have been his Pistols. Having them separate but him not able to even hold one of them is a bit of a kick in the teeth.....but it's not a big deal.
Really happy to finally have him and he has not disappointed me at all!
Damn, Rex looks awesome! Congrats!! Looking for that one myself now too. I passed at the time it went up for order because I was being ultra selective but now regret it. Gonna hold out for the Exclusive though.
This one just came in today. It's awesome. I think it's a perfect compliment to a variety of different sized Hulk statues. I'm really loving a lot of these older Sideshow pieces! Hope you guys like it all over again...
