That?s why I always trown away factory packages. They aren?t 100% protection proof. As you said : enough bubble wrap is way way safer.

Due to reactions on FB i have the feeling Mr. Johnny Matsumoto from Prime1 interferes unnecessarily with design while the emphasis for him should be on quality control (implementation and enforcement). He also confirmed that the last-minute Alien Warrior's 'tail change' (more straight upwards) was his personal decision. Ppl place PO due to design and promo pictures, you don't drastically change the outcome last day..
Ive seen a lot of back and fourth about the tilt.

I was worried about how the closed mouth head with that tilt would look on the standing upright statue. I was worried it would look goofy. Im happy how it looks. In that scene he is crouching down and peering around a branch. He shouldnt have the same tilt when standing upright.

I get what people are saying about the slight head tilt, but at the end of the day, I don't want him looking upward, at this size. Besides, it's not like he's actually in the pose during that close up, closed mouth scene. So this is a non issue for me.

Where the head is packed in the styrofoam really isn't the issue for breaks, it's how much wiggle room the head has, if there is a styro edge that gets hit during that wiggling, and the lack of soft foam packing/surrounding the mandible
Yep. I agree totally about the tilt.

And be careful when hearing up and flexing the dreads. Idimagine they are glued into place into the head. Maybe when flexing keep ones down on the base of the dread and flex the dread up with the other hand just to be safe.

Don't know about you, but I think it works here. Adds to the pose, gives him a bit more personality.

Agree.

I've thrown away two of the three styrofoam boxes (kept the one with head portrait). The remaining heads and items I've bubbled wrap and stored inside that one box, so not too bad saves a lot of space.

The two unused art boxes flattened and tucked safely away under bed. There is no way I could leave 3 giant boxes hanging around, too much of a space hog.

I prefer that. There are some with the bio mask and open mouth portraits with a little bit more angle tilt. Could be due to minor variations in the slot holes of the neck but it looks pretty cool. Kinda gives the illusion that the dreads are hanging out a bit more.

Awesome. I will save box artworks and one styrofoam for accessories

Huh? When was this, most of us clearly didn't get that memo. That subtle pose added so much to the bust, and the upwards look on the statue made it look more aggressive. Really poor decision to alter it, even poorer on their part if it was an intentional choice to alter it without telling any of us or updating the pictures....

Yes I did like the 'Bring it on' gesture. Was my only reason even consider it for the price.
Also perfect if you place the statue on a lower table, when you look more from above straight in his face.

Anyhow i waited too long what should happen with pricepoint locally, so not my problem anymore.

The dreads probably should be heated close to the attach point to get them a bit more outward (slightly a real reposition).

Last statues i got from XM only had the hd white styro (with sturdy black cardboard box).

When i pickup this pred, going to ask opening it first. Don't want any broken parts.
