Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Sculpt,
From what I can tell it's extremely close to the original, some of the tiniest details in Jokers outfit aren't there and where the biggest difference is is in Jokers face. But honestly if I didn't have them sitting next to each other it wouldn't even come into question.
They did really well at preserving the original runs details.

Paint,
This is where I would easily pick the original over this run, the weathering and rust on the base are done very sloppily, not even close to what they did on the first run.
The original Batmans suit has nice subtle lights and darks especially on the cape, which for some reason doesn't come off in pics, while the new one is straight black and grey. Also the new ones belt isn't as nicely detailed..
The Jokers paint is where the first run really shines over the new one. Almost night and day, especially on his face. And his outfit is better done as well, minus the Arkham print on the new ones pants, which I really like!

The other thing, I'm almost 100% positive that Amazon has this listed wrong, they list it as resin when actually the only thing I can find that is resin is the strap on Jokers arm. The rest is polystone.

Two other nit picks, the joker wobbles a bit, he doesn't fit in tight. And I do not like the seam in between the Bats belt and his torso. That seam does not exist on the original.

Conclusion,

Any Batman fan would be out of his mind not to buy this for less than $60. If I didn't have the original sitting in front of me to compare it to I would say it's the buy of the year, and at $300+ less then what the original goes for now it very may well just be!!

I had zero interest in this and bought it because it was dirt cheap, but I sure am glad I did as it's a fantastic addition to my collection and worth its price for sure!

I think it's a good thing the long strap is a sort of plastic with some give. That helps keep it from accidental breaking.

Thanks for the pix!

Agree completely, I’ve seen a few of these for sale with bribes/repaired straps. That’s for this find, it’s frigging fantastic for less then $60. Lol

I hate using this site on my phone, can’t see half of what I’m typing so autocorrect is allowed to fly.

Yeah, I wasn't a fan of the artwork in this issue, but the writing was good. I'm really enjoying the Rebirth version of Artemis.

MSRP for Superman vs Darkseid 2nd Edition is $300. There's a seller offering it for $200 on Amazon...if you wanna take a chance on the fragile cape.
