Grand Moff Tarkin

Very pleased.
Only problems seem to be those damn code cylinders on the right hand side of him & part of his tunic is very stiff & tends to stand up when you seat him. But the head sculpt is amazing

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

PF had the wrong shade of green for the uniform too IMO. Same thing happened with Hasbro's The Vintage Collection

And a less accurate head sculpt too.

yup. was more Revenge of the sith. I had the chance of getting it from a UK retailer at a cheaper price even without shipping but passed which I rather regret now. Just wasn't feeling it. Also felt SS could've made it available cheaper without the interrogation droid. No need for that

I only wanted the Interrogator Droid from the PF set, didn't like Tarkin's sculpt. Last year I got it from an EU seller.
Compared to the Hot Toys version
Anyway, cannot wait for Hot Toys Tarkin to arrive. I've heard there were some problems with the right pocket and the code cylinders there

yeah, fine on the left hand side but just don't want to clip in/stay in on the other
They should have just included a thin rectangle that you can slide in the pocket that has the upper half of the cylinders as well as the full size ones

Just got the boxed DV and GMT set. His likeness is top shelf. Could not be happier with the value of the boxed set.

Hot Toys Grand Moff Tarkin, one of the best 1/6 sculpts, incredible resemblance to Peter Cushing:
